Animal science and veterinary technology
Animal science is a multidisciplinary field of study that focuses on the biology, management and production of domestic animals. It encompasses a broad range of topics, including animal husbandry, health, behaviour, genetics, nutrition, physiology and reproduction.
It also spans veterinary technology, where you can expect to learn about the medical care of animals, including anatomy, pharmacology and clinical procedures.
You’ll also learn about animal husbandry, behaviour and welfare, nutrition and diagnostic techniques.
