Optimisation of a Stem-Implantation Technology for the Chemical and Biological Control of Chinee Apple (Ziziphus mauritiana)

This research project will be investigating the potential of native endophytic fungal isolates for the
control of Chinee Apple (Ziziphus mauritiana) through a series of progressive trails against seedling,
juvenile and adult plants. The effectiveness of Bioherbicide Australia’s (BHA Pty Ltd) proprietary
stem injection system (InJecta 800®) and Bi-Bak® range of registered and developmental synthetic
herbicides will also be assessed for minimising off-target damage.
