Importance of macrophyte seedbank dynamics for the management of invasive aquatic plants
The project aims to investigate macrophyte seedbank dynamics and the diversity of aquatic plant
species in freshwater systems for future restoration programs after a successful eradication of
invasive species. The outcomes of this project will contribute to improve invasive aquatic plant
management, provide a better understanding of macrophyte seedbank dynamics, and develop a
conceptual/ mathematical model to predict management outcomes.
