Young farmers in agritourism village and implications for Indonesian agriculture

This project will examine and understand the roles and dynamics of young people in rural Indonesia within the agritourism context. In addition, this project will explore and understand the social changes occurring in rural areas that have adopted agritourism and examine the authenticity it entails. This research will use the interpretivism paradigm and the biographical interpretive narrative approach to obtain data in rural areas of Indonesia. The expected outcome of this research is a practical framework for the dynamics of agritourism, which is expected to provide a better understanding of the social relations among young people and other stakeholders, as part of efforts to improve the economy in rural areas in Indonesia.
