Our Scientific Services team offers analytical chemistry services for UQ colleagues and external clients at our Gatton and St Lucia campuses.
We offer options for standard/routine analyses or conducting method development on non-standard analysis.
Sample matrices often received include soils, plants, water, animal/biological tissues and fluids, and food materials. Other sample types are not usually restricted, so please specify on enquiry.

Sample submissions
In person: please ensure you fill in and sign your submission form on arrival:
- UQ St Lucia contactless sample submissions: Hartley Teakle Building (Building 83), North wing, Level 1, Room N105
- UQ Gatton contactless sample submissions: TBA after enquiry submission.
By courier: address on application/enquiry.
