Mr David Appleton

David is an analytical chemist who has over thirty years of experience with inorganic analytical chemistry. He supports various research projects within AGFS, the wider UQ community and for clients external to UQ. He has experience in developing, validating and troubleshooting analytical methodologies and is highly proficient in performing both qualitative and quantitative analyses using ICPOES, LECO combustion analysers and other instrumentation and has conducted analyses on various biological and inorganic sample matrices including plants, soils and food products.
